Fulton Co., KY - One Person Dead After Crash on E State Line Rd

Fulton Co., KY (January 22, 2025) - One person lost their life after a collision in Fulton County on January 22. The Kentucky State Police reports that the crash occurred in the 4000 block of East State Line Road at approximately 6:19 a.m.

Jordan Owens, 44, of Greenfield, Tennessee, was operating a Mack garbage truck that broke down in the center of the roadway. Owens was outside of the vehicle when a 2014 Chevrolet Impala passed and ended up hitting him. The Impala was operated by 25-year-old Jose Gomez Carrillo of Mayfield, KY. A passenger was also inside the Impala at the time of the collision. Owens was transported to a hospital out-of-state where he was pronounced deceased due to the extent of his injuries. Police in Fulton County continue to investigate the details of the accident.
