Louisville, KY - Charles Briscoe Loses Life in Crash on Fern Valley Rd

Louisville, KY (April 3, 2025) - A person lost their life after a collision involving a Louisville police vehicle on Wednesday night, April 2. Police were called to render aid at the scene at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Interstate 65.

While heading to the crash scene, a police cruiser was involved in a crash with another vehicle on Fern Valley Road. The police officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, though their current condition has not been reported. The other driver, identified as 61-year-old Charles Briscoe, lost his life in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of blunt force injuries.
