Lexington, KY - Injuries Caused by Accident on New Circle Rd

Lexington, KY (April 17, 2025) – At approximately 5:00 p.m., on April 17, a car crash happened in Lexington that resulted in injuries and traffic delays. Multiple responders were dispatched to the crash scene on New Circle Road near Leestown Road to help those involved. At least one lane was blocked while emergency crews worked in the area to help injured victims. Paramedics transported the injured parties to local hospitals for treatment while police worked to investigate the circumstances of the wreck. Local motorists were urged to use alternate routes while responders were present, resulting in traffic delays in the area. Police continue to investigate.
