Car accidents are a daily reality in Kentucky, with more than 150,000 crashes reported across the state each year. These collisions result in tens of thousands of injuries and, tragically, thousands of lives lost. Nationwide, over 40,000 people die in traffic accidents annually, many of which could have been prevented.
A significant portion of these crashes are linked to driver negligence. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), over 92% of traffic collisions in the United States are caused by human error. Whether it's speeding, distracted driving, impairment, or simply failing to yield, negligent behavior behind the wheel often leads to devastating consequences. These types of crashes are frequently more severe due to the lack of awareness and delayed reaction times involved.
