Wayne Co., KY (April 30, 2025) — A devastating collision in Wayne County early Sunday morning has left one person dead and another seriously injured, according to the Kentucky State Police (KSP).
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. when 19-year-old Seth Bolen attempted to pull onto West KY 90 from Highway 1546. As he entered the roadway, his vehicle was struck by an oncoming semi-truck driven by 34-year-old De-Mario Adams.
The impact of the crash ejected both occupants of the car. Tragically, 18-year-old Elijah Bolen, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner’s Office. Seth Bolen was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital with serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
