Boone Co., KY (April 8, 2025) – Police in Boone County confirmed that two people lost their lives after a dump truck crashed into a restaurant. The truck struck another vehicle and then drove through the side of Boonedock’s Pub and Grub at approximately 4:33 p.m. on April 8.
Another vehicle was also involved, which flipped over and landed on its roof. Police say three individuals were inside the car at the time of the crash, and two lost their lives at the scene. No one inside the restaurant was hurt. The driver of the truck sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital along with a passenger inside the second vehicle. Police in Boone County continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
