Kentucky Auto Accidents

Car crashes are a serious issue in the United States and across the state of Kentucky. Yearly, more than 6 million auto accidents happen across the US. These collisions cause over 3 million people to sustain injuries and around 40,000 to lose their lives yearly. On average, over 17,000 car wrecks happen per day in the US that cause around 7,500 people to sustain injuries and over 100 to lose their lives. Negligent driving is the main cause of the majority of traffic accidents in the US today.

Some of the most common types of negligent driving seen on American roadways today include:

  • Fatigue
  • Intoxication
  • Speeding
  • Distraction

When drivers operate their vehicles while distracted, they cause dangerous or even fatal collisions. More often than not, those who are victimized in these types of crashes often suffer severe or even fatal injuries. Those who survive auto accidents with serious injuries often have to spend prolonged periods in the hospital. These lengthy hospital stays can cost a fortune for victims and their loved ones.
