Carter Co., KY (December 20, 2024) – Two people lost their lives in a Friday night collision in Carter County. According to reports from local sources, two vehicles crashed on US-60 just west of Olive Hill.
Troopers said the incident occurred at approximately 8:49 p.m. in the 22000 block of US 60. At this time, the victims who lost their lives have not been identified, but reports reveal they were inside the same vehicle at the time of the accident. US 60 was closed in both directions near the scene while responders worked to clear the wreckage from the road. Police in Carter County continue to investigate.
