Clinton Co., KY (February 19, 2025) – State Police in Kentucky are currently investigating a fatal crash that happened between two vehicles in Clinton County. Reports show the wreck occurred early on Tuesday morning on US 127. Preliminary reports show Andrew Ridge, 21, was headed south on US 127 in a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 when he crossed both northbound lanes and entered the northbound shoulder of the road. Ridge tried to turn his vehicle back to the southbound lanes when he was involved in a head-on crash with a 2022 Mack tractor-trailer. Dylan Tuck, age 26, was driving the semi-truck. Ridge was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical professionals. Tuck was transported by helicopter to the University of Tennessee Hospital. Highway 127 was closed for a prolonged period on Tuesday while responders worked at the scene. Police in Clinton County continue to investigate.
