Kentucky Car Accidents
The state of Kentucky sees hundreds of thousands of car crashes per year. On average, over 125,000 reported wrecks occur yearly in the Bluegrass State. Sadly, tens of thousands are hurt in these wrecks while thousands more lose their lives. Yearly, across the US, over 6 million car accidents are reported that injure around 3 million and take the lives of about 40,000. These collisions are mostly caused by driver negligence, such as intoxication, distraction, fatigue, and speeding.
In the last ten years, negligent driving has become a serious problem in the United States. The NHTSA reports that approximately 94% of reported traffic accidents in the US are caused by careless drivers. When we consider that over 6 million auto collisions happen per year in our country, we realize the alarming nature of the problem of reckless driving.
