Kentucky Car Accidents
Kentucky car accidents take place hundreds of thousands of times each year. Over 150,000 car crashes happen yearly throughout the state. Unfortunately, tens of thousands suffer injuries in these collisions while thousands of lives are cut short. Most of these wrecks are caused by negligent driving, according to information provided by various statistical sources.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that four of five car crashes in the US are caused by driver negligence. Auto accidents that occur when drivers act recklessly, carelessly, or otherwise negligently are often more severe than other types of collisions. Drivers who are intoxicated, distracted, over-tired, or speeding often have their judgment or reaction times reduced, creating a dangerous situation for everyone on the road.
