Lexington, KY (March 13, 2025) – One person lost their life after a crash in Lexington. Police say the incident occurred on Tates Creek Road at approximately 4:45 on Tuesday afternoon. Three vehicles were involved in the collision.
According to preliminary reports, two other people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased victim was identified as Cary Griffing, 24. Tates Creek Road was shut down in both directions between Wilson Downing Road and Laredo Drive due to the wreck. Traffic was being diverted from the scene while responders were present. Police asked local drivers to avoid the area if possible.
