Lexington, KY (August 21, 2024) – A traffic accident reported in the Lexington area sent at least one individual to an area hospital with injuries.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., on August 21, emergency responders were alerted concerning a serious car crash on Georgetown Road. Shortly after arriving at the scene, police and paramedics located the involved vehicles blocking the intersection with Spurr Road. EMTs immediately rendered aid to injured victims while police worked to secure the intersection to prevent further damage. Currently, police in Lexington continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
