Lexington, KY (January 2, 2024) – A fatal traffic accident in Lexington took the life of one person on Tuesday, December 31. At approximately 6:40 a.m., the fatal incident occurred at Iron Works Pike near Russell Cave Baptist Church. A man identified as Luis Noe Hernandez Rodriguez lost his life when a gray passenger vehicle and a box truck collided head-on. Rodriguez, the driver of the passenger vehicle, lost his life at the scene. The driver of the box truck was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police in Lexington continue to investigate the details of the crash.
