Kentucky Traffic Accidents

Kentucky car accidents happen every single day. On average, the state sees approximately 150,000 traffic collisions per year. Approximately 25,000 of these end in injuries, and over 700 end in fatalities. Unfortunately, most of these crashes are preventable and caused by the negligent actions of drivers.

When semi-trucks become involved in traffic accidents, those involved almost always sustain severe injuries. Due to the extreme size and weight of tractor-trailers, the damage done by accidents of this nature is often astronomical. Unfortunately, truck drivers are often operating their vehicles while over-tired, distracted, or under the influence of drugs.

Driver negligence has become the main cause of the majority of car accidents in the United States and throughout the state of Kentucky. Each year, more than 90% of reported car accidents in the United States are caused by negligent driving. Drivers who choose to operate their vehicles while distracted, intoxicated, exhausted, or at unsafe speeds put their own lives at risk and the lives of everyone on the road at risk.
