Kentucky Traffic Accidents

Every day in Kentucky, countless lives are disrupted by traffic accidents. With around 150,000 crashes reported annually across the Bluegrass State, the toll is staggering — nearly 25,000 injuries and more than 700 lives lost each year. Tragically, most of these accidents stem from driver negligence.

Nationwide, negligent driving is the root cause of more than 94% of all auto collisions. Drivers who engage in reckless, careless, or irresponsible behaviors endanger themselves and everyone else on the road.

Negligence behind the wheel takes many forms. Some of the most frequent and dangerous include driving under the influence, using a phone or other distractions, operating a vehicle while drowsy, and excessive speeding
