Kentucky Car Wrecks
Kentucky car wrecks happen daily. Approximately 150,000 auto accidents are reported yearly throughout the state. According to reports, over 20,000 people are killed in traffic accidents yearly across the state. Sadly, more than 700 end up dying due to the extent of their injuries. Reports from police show the majority of traffic accidents in the United States and throughout the state of Kentucky are caused by negligent drivers.
Especially in the past ten years, negligent driving has become the main cause of the majority of auto accidents throughout the country. Every year, over 90% of reported auto accidents are caused by driver negligence, according to information provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Drivers who choose to get behind the wheel while intoxicated, distracted, over-tired, or while traveling at unsafe speeds risk their own lives and the lives of everyone on the road.
Negligent and unlawful driver behaviors put countless people at risk every year. When drivers act inattentive and careless, the chances of them causing someone serious or even fatal injuries are, unfortunately, extremely high.
