McCreary Co., KY (June 18, 2024) – State police in Kentucky were sent to the scene of an auto accident in McCreary County on Monday, June 17. Two vehicles collided at approximately 5:30 p.m. on US-27 near the Southern Highway. One of the drivers involved, identified as Cameron D. Burke, 19, Of Stearns, lost their life in the accident. Police say Burke was partially ejected from the vehicle due to the wreck. Two passengers in one of the vehicles were flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been reported.
