Kentucky Car Accidents

Kentucky sees tens of thousands of car accidents every year. On average, the state sees more than 125,000 reported traffic collisions annually. These accidents happen for countless reasons, from car problems to road conditions and negligent driving. Unfortunately, negligent drivers cause the majority of traffic crashes in the US and throughout the Bluegrass State. In one recent year, driver intoxication was behind over 30% of the national accident fatality rate.

Those who suffer injuries in auto accidents often end up in the hospital where they have to undergo extensive and expensive medical care. On average, hospital bills stemming from severe car crash injuries can range in the tens of thousands of dollars. Having to pay bills of this nature without warning can be difficult for victims and their loved ones.

Losing a family member in a fatal traffic accident is, perhaps, the only thing more devastating than suffering severe injuries yourself. Yearly, over 40,000 individuals lose their lives in traffic collisions in the United States. In Kentucky, thousands of people are killed annually in fatal car wrecks.
