Scottsville, KY (December 17, 2024) – Police and emergency responders were sent to the scene of a fatal traffic accident in Scottsville on December 17. Reports show the crash happened at approximately 1:40 p.m. on New Glasgow Road. A 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by 77-year-old Roger Tooley was headed south on the roadway when his vehicle crossed the middle lane and entered the northbound travel lane. He drove into the path of a 2013 Kia Optima operated by 40-year-old Amanda Robledo of Scottsville. A passenger inside Tooley’s vehicle was identified as Rebecca Tooley, 81, also of Scottsville. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Both drivers were life-flighted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where Robledo later lost her life. The Allen County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the crash scene. Police continue to investigate.
