Simpson Co., KY (October 14, 2024) – A man from Portland lost his life in a fatal accident in Simpson County. According to information provided by local reports, the accident occurred on Interstate 65 near mile marker 6. Just before 3:00 a.m., several responders were dispatched to the accident scene to help the people involved. Police report a vehicle collided with the trailer of a freight liner for reasons still being investigated. A passenger who was present inside the car lost their life.
