Virgie, KY (January 30, 2021) – A two-car accident occurred early on Monday, January 27, that took the life of one person involved. Kentucky State Police report the wreck happened at approximately 6:00 p.m. on the Penny Highway in Virgie. Police say an individual operating a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee was involved in a head-on crash with a 2017 Kia Sorento. Mina Pinson, the driver of the Kia, was pronounced deceased on-site.
