Kentucky Car Accidents

Car accidents are a daily occurrence in Kentucky, with around 150,000 traffic collisions happening each year. Out of these, about 25,000 result in injuries and over 700 are fatal. Sadly, most of these crashes could be prevented, as they are often caused by negligent drivers.

Negligent driving is the leading cause of car accidents in Kentucky and the United States. Each year, more than 90% of car accidents in the U.S. are due to drivers being distracted, intoxicated, exhausted, or speeding. These reckless behaviors endanger not only the drivers themselves but everyone else on the road, including pedestrians and cyclists.

When drivers are inattentive and careless, the risk of causing serious or even fatal injuries to others is alarmingly high. Common examples of negligent driving include driving while distracted, drunk, or tired. If you have lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident caused by a negligent driver, you should be able to focus on grieving and supporting your family without financial worries. A wrongful death lawyer can help you file a claim to seek justice and compensation.
