Jefferson Co., KY (June 27, 2024) – At around 7:24 p.m., on June 27, a serious car accident was reported to police in Jefferson County. Emergency responders including EMTs, fire crews, and police officers were dispatched to the crash scene on Kentucky Route 841 near New Cut Road. Vehicles crashed in the area under circumstances that remain unclear at this time. Paramedics helped those with injuries before transporting them to the hospital for treatment as necessary. Currently, the identities of those involved have not been reported. The left shoulder and left lane of the road were blocked while crews worked in the area, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes.
