Louisville, KY (June 24, 2024) – Two people lost their lives after a head-on collision occurred in Louisville. Reports from authorities show the wreck happened on Interstate 265 near the Preston Highway. Police responded to a call made around 3:40 a.m. concerning the wreck. A pickup truck was headed east on the interstate when it struck a second pickup truck head-on, causing both vehicles to catch fire. Okolona Fire and EMS responded to the scene and worked to extinguish the flames quickly. Two lives were taken due to the wreck; however, they have not been identified at this time. Police in Louisville are still investigating.
