Louisville, KY (June 6, 2024) – Two people lost their lives on Wednesday afternoon, June 5, in Louisville. A fatal car crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on the Preston Highway near the Old Preston Highway and Marketplace Drive. A pickup truck and an SUV collided in the area. Police say two people in the pickup lost their lives at the crash scene. The driver of the SUV sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Police in Louisville continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
