Franklin, KY - Eric Green Loses Life in Motorcycle Crash on Nashville Rd

Franklin, KY (December 30, 2024) – One man lost his life in a traffic accident in Franklin on December 29. Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, State Police in Bowling Green were notified of a two-vehicle crash in Franklin. Officers arrived at the scene on Nashville Road near the Flying J Travel Center to find a motorcyclist who had been involved in an accident with a Kenworth commercial vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as Eric Green, 33, of Bowling Green, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical professionals. Reports show the incident occurred when Green was headed north on Nashville Road. At the same time, a 2020 Kenworth commercial vehicle, operated by 29-year-old Nugussee Yonathan of Burien, exited the Flying J Travel Center onto Nashville and entered Green’s path. The truck driver suffered no injuries in the collision, according to reports. Police in Franklin continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
