Bardstown, KY (June 24, 2025) - A deadly crash in Bardstown early Saturday morning, June 21, left one person dead and another hospitalized with serious injuries.

Emergency crews responded to the 800 block of West Stephen Foster Avenue shortly after 4:20 a.m., following reports of a vehicle collision involving a residence. Upon arrival, responders found two individuals injured inside a black vehicle that had struck both a parked car and a nearby home.

Officials say the vehicle appeared to have gone off the roadway before hitting a blue parked car at a residence and then colliding with the structure.

The passenger, identified by the Nelson County Coroner as 27-year-old Morgan Williamson of Taylorsville, died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver was initially taken to Flaget Hospital and later airlifted to the University of Louisville Trauma Center for further treatment.

Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident.
