Our thoughts are with those affected by this accident.
Car accidents remain a serious concern across Kentucky, with more than 150,000 crashes reported statewide each year. Tragically, many of these collisions result in loss of life—devastating families and communities in an instant. Across the U.S., traffic-related fatalities exceed 40,000 annually, and far too many of those deaths are preventable.
In Kentucky, fatal crashes are often the result of human error. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), over 92% of all motor vehicle accidents nationwide are caused by driver-related mistakes. Whether it's distracted driving, speeding, impairment, or failure to follow traffic laws, these moments of negligence can have irreversible consequences.
