Louisville, KY – Critical Injury Pedestrian Accident at Dixie Hwy & W Blevins Gap Rd

Louisville, KY (November 13, 2025) – A person suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian crash on Wednesday, November 12, near Valley Station. Louisville Metro Police responded just after 7 p.m. to Dixie Highway at West Blevins Gap Road after receiving reports of a person hit by a vehicle.

Officers arrived and found the injured pedestrian lying in the roadway. According to investigators, a pickup truck was traveling north on Dixie Highway when it struck the pedestrian. Louisville Metro Police stated that everyone involved remained at the scene, and the driver cooperated with the investigation.

Emergency crews rushed the victim to University of Louisville Hospital, where doctors listed the individual in critical condition. Because of the severity of the injuries, the LMPD Traffic Unit took over the investigation.
