Dry Ridge, KY (January 14, 2026) – Two people were killed in a tragic head-on crash just outside Dry Ridge on Wednesday, January 14. The accident occurred when an 81-year-old woman crossed the center line on Taft Highway near Stanley Road and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.
The crash involved two adults and two teens who were in the Silverado. Tragically, the 81-year-old driver of the RAV4 died at the scene, along with the 35-year-old front-seat passenger in the pickup.
The two teens were transported to UC Medical Center and are reported to be in stable condition. The driver of the Silverado was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital and is expected to survive.
