Burlington, KY (April 6, 2026) – A late-night crash on Sunday, April 5, left one teen dead and three others injured on Bullittsville Road in Hebron. Deputies responded around 10:34 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious single-vehicle accident.

Officials said a 17-year-old driver was traveling in a 2015 Honda Accord when he approached a sharp right-hand curve. The driver crossed the center line, overcorrected, and veered off the road before the car struck several trees and overturned.

Authorities confirmed that a front seat passenger, identified as 16-year-old Zachary Snyder of Burlington, was ejected during the crash. He became trapped under the vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver and two backseat passengers, a 17-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, exited the vehicle on their own. Emergency crews transported them to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said speed likely played a role in the crash. Crews closed the roadway for several hours while they cleared the scene and documented evidence. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased teen and also wish the injured a steady recovery.
