Lexington, KY (April 8, 2026) – A 93-year-old woman lost her life after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 7, at the intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Street in Lexington. Police responded to the scene shortly after 9 p.m.

Authorities reported that one vehicle struck another while it was making a turn at the intersection. Emergency units arrived and began assisting those involved in the collision.

Officials identified the victim as a 93-year-old passenger from Lexington. She suffered blunt force injuries and was taken to the UK Medical Center, where she later died.

An occupant from the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported that individual to a nearby hospital for treatment.
