Cold Spring, KY – Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle on Alexandria Pike

Cold Spring, KY (March 6, 2026) –  A tragic pedestrian crash in Cold Spring claimed the life of a 42-year-old man on Thursday evening, March 5. Authorities reported that the fatal collision occurred around 7 p.m. in the 5400 block of Alexandria Pike in Campbell County, Kentucky.

Cold Spring police officers responded to the scene after receiving reports that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian along the busy roadway near a shopping center. When first responders arrived, they located a man suffering from severe injuries.

Emergency medical personnel quickly transported the victim to UC Medical Center for urgent treatment. Officials later identified the pedestrian as Ivan Chandler, a 42-year-old resident. Despite medical efforts, Chandler later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
