Rowan Co., KY – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on KY 801 Near Farmers

Rowan County, KY (April 17, 2026) – A fatal two-vehicle crash in Rowan County claimed the life of a young motorcyclist Wednesday afternoon, April 15. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. along Kentucky Route 801 near the community of Farmers.

Authorities reported that a blue Ford Explorer was traveling south on KY 801 when it crossed the center line. The vehicle then struck a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.

Emergency units responded to the scene and provided aid to those involved in the collision. The motorcyclist, identified as 23-year-old Christopher Adkins of Morehead, suffered severe injuries.
