Clarkson, KY – Fatal Head-On Crash on W Kentucky Pkwy Near MM 117

Clarkson, KY (September 5, 2025) – A deadly head-on collision on Thursday, September 4, on the Western Kentucky Parkway left one woman dead and three others seriously injured. The Kentucky State Police reported the crash near the 117-mile marker outside Clarkson.

Investigators said Francisco Tziquin, 25, of Houston, Texas, drove a Honda Civic westbound when he crossed the median and struck a Lincoln MKZ traveling eastbound. The Lincoln, operated by 25-year-old Isaac Hearn of Leitchfield, sustained heavy damage.

A female passenger in the Honda Civic died at the scene, according to the Grayson County Coroner’s Office. Her identity has not yet been released. Two juvenile passengers from the Honda were rushed to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville with serious injuries. Hearn was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Authorities arrested Tziquin for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a valid license. He remains in custody at the Grayson County Detention Center without bond. The Kentucky State Police continue to investigate this tragic incident.
