After a collision on a major interstate like I-75 in Erlanger, it can make a real difference to know what steps to take. Injuries from highway crashes can range from soft tissue damage and whiplash to more serious spinal or head trauma. Some of these injuries are not immediately apparent at the scene, especially in the aftermath of an early morning wreck when adrenaline can mask pain.

It is advisable to seek medical attention promptly to help document any harm and establish a clear timeline. Prompt medical evaluation not only protects your health, but also your legal rights. Medical records directly link the injuries to the accident that caused it, and this evidence is very strong in the case you decide to file a claim.

Kenton County sits at one of the busiest stretches of I-75 in Northern Kentucky, where commercial truck traffic and commuter volume stay consistently high throughout the day and night, which make it really prone to vehicle accidents. A car accident attorney can help those hurt in a highway crash understand what Kentucky law allows and what compensation may be available.

Kentucky operates under a no-fault insurance system, which affects how and when a person can step outside their own coverage to pursue a claim against another driver.
