Graves County, KY (April 20, 2026) – Two people were injured in a crash involving a semi-tanker truck and a car on Sunday, April 19, along Interstate 69 near the Hickman-Graves County line. Emergency units responded to the scene during the morning hours after reports of a collision on the highway.
Authorities said a car struck the rear of a semi-truck trailer traveling ahead. Investigators reported that heavy fog reduced visibility in the area at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the incident.
Officials identified the driver of the car as 56-year-old Mickey Noonan of Hickman. His passenger, 44-year-old Angela Noonan, was also in the vehicle when the crash occurred.
Paramedics transported both Mickey Noonan and Angela Noonan to a hospital in Mayfield for treatment. Authorities have not released details about the extent of their injuries.
The driver of the semi, identified as Robert Bowers of McAlpin, Florida, did not report any injuries following the collision. Crews worked to manage the scene and assist those involved.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Our thoughts are with those injured as they receive care and work toward recovery.

In many cases, passengers are not considered at fault, which can make it possible to file claims through one or more insurance policies. The specific options depend on the details of the crash and available coverage.
Injury accidents can lead to a wide range of physical and financial effects. Passengers may experience conditions such as whiplash, fractures, or internal injuries that require ongoing care. Some symptoms may not appear right away, which makes medical evaluations and follow-up visits important for proper treatment and documentation.
After being injured in a crash, a car accident lawyer can help review accident reports, insurance policies, and medical records. This can be especially helpful in crashes involving large trucks, where additional factors may apply.
